PhD APAI Research Scholarship
A scholarship for a PhD program through the APAI linkage program is
available for assisting in the development of a multi threat risk
assessment medel for critical infrastructure using scripted agent
computer technology. The grant is sponsored by the ARC and ARUPs.
The candidate must have a strong background in the Mathematical
Sciences or Engineering and be an Australian citizen or resident.

RESEARCH SCHOLARSHIP (PhD)
The Centre for Infrastructure Performance and Reliability has
recently been awarded an Australian Research Council Discovery
Project that is funded for three years and has the support of a
number of industry-based research partners. A University of
Newcastle Research Scholarship (External) has been established to
investigate the performance and reliability of structural masonry
subject to explosive blast loading.
